Pros
- Easy to use
- Heat settings resemble a normal stove
- Lightweight
Cons
- Arguably expensive compared to other single burners
- High energy consumption for a single burner stove
As reflected in its stellar consumer ratings, the 3D RH-8190s is one of, if not the most popular choice for single burner electric stoves. Just like your typical gas stove, it’s simple to use and has three heat settings: low, medium, and high.
In terms of make and design, we can see why it’s a fan favorite. It comes in a classic white and looks neat on any kitchen top, which is what makes it a popular choice among dormers and apartment dwellers.
Its body is made up of stainless steel. It has an 8-inch heater coil made of cast iron, and is protected by a thermal fuse.
This electric single burner has got an estimated consumption cost of 4 Php per hour. This is not bad, although over time it could be seen as somewhat pricey for a stove where you can only warm one thing at a time.
What we love about this unit from 3D appliances is just how effortless it is to clean. At the bottom, the RH-8190s has a removable drip tray for easy cleanup after use.
This electric stove from 3D is top-rated because it isn’t lacking in terms of performance and reliability ever since its market release. We think that buying yourself an RH-8190s now could very well be a solid investment.

Pros
- Budget-friendly
- Low energy consumption
- Has an automatic thermostat
Cons
- May be too light it feels like a toy
- Low price point may lead customers to question sturdiness of the product
The Fukuda FES27C is the lightest electric stove in our roster, weighing just a little over a kilogram it’ll almost feel like a toy.
If you’re the type who likes to rearrange their kitchen layout every other week, this portable stove is so easy to bring around that it won’t give you a hard time.
The FES27C’s lightweight body is made of heat-resistant aluminum-alloy metal, and its burner uses non-stick coating. This will make it less likely to damage your pots and pans while heating.
Right in front of the unit is a small red on/off indicator light so you’d know at a glance if the appliance is running or not.
Unique to the FES27C in this list are its variable heat settings: twisting the dial clockwise allows you to adjust your heat level from minimum to maximum in small notches.
Aside from the heating knob, one of the best features we saw from Fukuda is that it’s got overheat protection through an automatic thermostat, similar to what you would find in an oven.
This Fukuda electric stove is certainly the most economical choice, coming at a price point way below 1,000 Php with similar specs and even less wattage.
The only potential drawback we see here is customers questioning why it’s priced this way, at less than half of the average price of single burner electric stoves on our list. If the FES27C is that good and durable, why in the world is it so cheap?
We don’t know either, but we’re more than willing to spend good money on one anyway!

Pros
- Double burner, you can heat two things at once
- More affordable than some single burners
- High-quality materials
Cons
- Takes up more space on kitchen countertop
- Higher energy consumption compared to a single burner
The Standard brand is a household name for affordable and reliable kitchen appliances. Its reputation for durable stoves is not exclusive to gas stoves – it’s just as popular among electric stoves as well!
We found the SEC-1102 model to be special because it’s a double electric heater that sells cheaper than some single burners in the market. This is ideal for heating multiple dishes and for cooking over a longer period of time.
This Standard model is a double coil electric stove designed for direct heat cooking. It has two knobs, one for each burner. There are three precise heat settings: low, medium, and high.
It also has an orange pilot lamp indicator on the upper left of the panel to signify when it’s switched on. Take note that the burner slowly goes from orange to grey black after switching the knob to turn off.
Its stainless metal body gives it a classic look, and makes it built-to-last. It also has thermal fuse protection, which is a necessary feature to prevent your unit from overheating.
The only real drawback here is that since there are two burners, it takes up more space on your countertop and its electricity consumption is higher than a single coil stove.
At 230V 60Hz, the SEC-1102 may become a significant power consumer with frequent use.

Pros
- Has a high quality, enamel-coated top plate
- Budget-friendly and easy to use
- Has precise, 3-level heat settings
Cons
- Burner is sized for small pans
- Model is a little heavier than other single-burner stoves
If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, great quality electric stove, you might be sold on this particular stove model from Micromatic.
The MES-200 is quite literally plug-and-play: it heats up without delay as soon as it’s plugged in. This stainless steel stove uses an electric ignition system to turn on and start warming.
The Micromatic takes less time to heat up, thereby consuming less electricity than most other units.
The unit has precise temperature control in three notches, following a counterclockwise motion from low, medium, to high. It also has an on/off indicator lamp right next to the temperature knob.
This Micromatic model sells cheaper than the popular choice with the same specs, but it still leaves room for more. Just like every other electric stove of quality, it doesn’t release fumes or expel heat.
What we love about the MES-200 is that its top plate is made of enamel coating, making it more resistant to rusting and easier to clean.
It’s got a sturdy, significantly larger heater coil tube which distributes heat more efficiently, but makes it a little heavier than the other sleeker models on our list.
The unit is sized for small pans, but the Micromatic MES-200 truly shines as it can evenly heat even the highest quality cookware from stainless steel to marble.

Pros
- Well-built, made of quality materials
- Has a phenolic side plate for good heating and electrical resistance
- Can be used both indoors and outdoors
Cons
- Pricey
- Build and aesthetics are similar to that of a gas stove
- Slightly heavier than other portable stoves on our list
Among all the electric stoves in the market, one stands out as the sturdiest unit that ticks off all the boxes for design and energy efficiency: the ES-601 from Asahi.
The Asahi ES-601 is by far the most well-built unit we’ve seen. From a design perspective, it looks more like a gas or dual-fuel stove, which could confuse potential buyers.
It’s silver and black in color, and looks like anything you’d find at home or in a small commercial kitchen. Upon closer inspection, however, we found that the ES-601 is comprised of quality materials which translate to highly effective stove use.
This Asahi model possesses standard fare: an on/off switch, indicator light, non-slip feet, and overheat protection. It has the 3 basic temperature settings coupled with a high quality heating element, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor cooking.
It has a stainless steel hob, a 6-inch coil, and a knob as well as side panels that are heat-resistant. The ES-601 has a sideplate made out of phenolic resin, which is has good heat and electrical resistance.
Its burner coil is fast-heating as well, which can make it double as a grill if you’re using it outdoors.
At only 1200W, it’s a smart choice whether you want to keep your electricity bill down or want to invite family and friends over for a backyard barbecue.
The only major drawback we see is that the unit itself is on the pricier side, but it’s well worth it if you wish to get a stove that can do more for you.
