Top 10 Derma Clinics in the PH

How We Picked

Price

We reviewed each store based on how much their treatments are priced, specifically their basic facial, anti-acne, and dermatologist consultation fee.

Accessibility

We considered the number of branches or locations the clinic has, as well as their service hours.

Variety of Treatments

We factored in the variety of treatments each derma clinic offers, from basic facial packages to more advanced procedures.

Treatment Quality

We reviewed the overall treatment quality of the derma clinic, based on its cleanliness and ambience, the equipment they use, and the skillfulness of their clinic staff.

Pros

  • Most accessible
  • Wide array of treatment offerings
  • Great value for money
  • Affordable and popular diode laser treatment

Cons

  • Inconsistency in treatment quality
  • Poor record keeping for some branches

One of the biggest skin and body care clinics in the Philippines to date is SkinStation, which was formerly Godiva Skin Station.

They are steadily expanding and have branches all over Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, making them the most accessible derma clinic we reviewed.

Skinstation has a wide array of offerings from facials and skin peels to whitening, anti-acne, and anti-aging treatments. They also have procedures to lighten pimple scars, as well as ThermaFirme to tighten your face, arms, and tummy.

They take pride in offering painless procedures, which is why one of their main selling points and most popular treatments is their diode laser treatment.

It’s priced very reasonably, at about 2,500 Php for the first 3 sessions. Most people finish their diode laser treatment spending only 10,000 Php which is a huge steal!

Aside from this, a lot of people go for their hyal-C facial with diamond peel and their anti-acne facials as they offer great value for money as well.

As a growing brand, SkinStation’s low points include inconsistency in treatment quality. Some branches are run more effectively and handle their clients better than others, so in terms of SkinStation service, you’re looking at a mixed bag.

Probably due to catering to so many clients at their branches, SkinStation also has poor record keeping. If you’re availing of a package with multiple sessions (like laser treatment) it’s best that you also keep tabs of how many visits you have left.

Pros

  • Established brand in beauty and derma care
  • Offers free consultation
  • Wide variety of treatments based on need
  • Recommended Fire and Ice treatment, Thermalift

Cons

  • Rates are hidden, only available via PM
  • Some consultants are not necessarily dermatologists

As one of the first skin science clinics in the Philippines, Facial Care Centre is celebrating 40 years of service to its customers.

The sister company of Marie France and Svenson, this established brand in beauty and derma care is a go-to for many availing of affordable skin care treatments.

Facial Care Centre offers free consultation that you can schedule via text or through Viber before you visit their branches. Their treatments start at about 1,700 Php per session.

When we visited their Eastwood branch, the attendant asked us what our skin goal is. Then they showed us the variety of treatments they offer––skin rejuvenating, anti-aging, face slimming, lightening, whitening, anti-acne, and hair removal––based on our needs.

We tried their recommended treatments: Fire and Ice, which is a rehydrating thermal and cryo treatment in one, and their Firmalift. The latter is their non-invasive version of a facelift, which they usually bundle up with other promos.

What we don’t like about Facial Care Centre is that their rates are hidden. You can only request for it via personal message, thus their treatment prices are subject to change without prior notice.

We also found that some of their consultants are not necessarily licensed dermatologists, and tend to just recommend treatments which are part of the store’s promotional packages.

Pros

  • Run by board-certified dermatologists
  • Treatment tailored to your skin
  • Skin specialists practice continuous learning, don’t push lots of products
  • Highly recommended acne treatment
  • Offers medical dermatology

Cons

  • Only one branch
  • Sunday schedule is by appointment

True to its name, SkinMD is run by board-certified dermatologists who are committed to creating a tailored treatment plan for your skin.

What we love about SkinMD is that their dermatologists took the time to give very detailed explanations about the treatments they offer, and were willing to answer all the questions we had.

During our visit, we saw that they lived up to the commitment of continuous learning and application of that in their practice. The doctors don’t push lots of products, and they only recommend one product with the ingredients that will help your skin.

SkinMD offers their Thread Lift which is a non-surgical face lift, which uses polydioxanone (PDO) threads that are absorbed by your skin, naturally pulling it up.

We highly recommend their anti-acne treatments, which range from pimple injections to acne surgery. Before the procedure, they minimize the risk of facial scarring by first checking if the acne is ready for extraction.

What sets them apart is that they offer medical dermatology consultation for various skin conditions and procedures such as warts and mole removal, varicose vein treatment, skin tag removal, and hair loss treatment.

Where SkinMD lacks is accessibility, as they only have one branch in Ortigas. If you wish to come in on a weekend, you have to consult directly with them as they are booked by appointment only on Sundays and are usually full on Saturdays as well.

Pros

  • High quality of treatment
  • Premium in-house ambience
  • Doctor recommends medicine and post-procedure treatment before it begins

Cons

  • Very expensive
  • In-house products are more expensive than retail price with same ingredients

Considered as the top medical aesthetic clinic in the Philippines, Belo Medical Group has been serving its clients since 1990.

It has a roster of loyal customers from celebrities and socialites to women and men who won’t settle for less than the most advanced skin treatments in the country.

It’s easy to see why people remain loyal to Belo because of their competent doctors and the quality of treatment that they provide.

Belo Medical Group offers everything from skin enhancements, facial improvements, body contouring, infusions, and hair removal, among other aesthetic and plastic procedures.

The Belo clinic provided us with premium in-house ambience, from the chairs to the mood lights, complimentary drinks and attentive service from the staff. Before getting a facial, the doctor recommended the medicine and post-facial treatment we should have.

The downside to Belo Medical Group is the hefty price tag that comes with their services. Their cheapest procedures are well-above a thousand pesos, and an online consultation alone with Dr. Vicki Belo is priced at 2,000 Php.

Another thing to note about Belo is that the in-house products that they sell at the clinic are more expensive than retail price with the same ingredients. This goes to show that with Belo Medical Group, aside from the product and treatment, you pay for the name.

5. Aivee Clinic

Pros

  • Expanding internationally
  • Luxurious clinic ambience
  • Offers almost every treatment one can think of
  • Good anti-acne treatment
  • Oxygen clearing facial works

Cons

  • Most expensive rates
  • Products have high mark-up
  • Booking has to be 1-2 weeks in advance

Another one of the more popular beauty clinics in the country is Aivee Clinic, which gained prominence because of its celebrity clients and endorsers.

They have a bunch of branches in Manila (two of them being in BGC), and recently opened a branch along Orchard Road in Singapore!

If we were to describe Aivee Clinic in terms of ambience, we would definitely use the word luxurious. The interiors resemble a hotel more than a spa, and they made sure to pamper us in the BGC branch we visited.

Aivee offers pretty much everything from facials, skin tightening, botox, fillers, laser, and body treatments you can think of. Their most popular treatments are Thermage and Aerolase.

We’ve only heard good things about their anti-acne treatment, which, though pricey, is effective and recommended by most. We tried the oxygen clearing facial as well and it did wonders to our skin.

The downside to getting treated at Aivee is its very expensive rates. Their cheapest facials are priced at 2,500 Php, and some procedures here are even more expensive than those of other premium derma clinics.

If you’re on a budget, long-term treatment at Aivee Clinic may not be realistically affordable. We also don’t like that the products they sell in-store have high mark-up prices as well, so you’re better off buying your skincare formulas outside.

We also found it difficult to walk-in, learning the hard way that bookings must be done 1-2 weeks in advance.

6. Glow Skin Clinic

Pros

  • Inclusive, many male and female clients
  • Dermatologist consultation available
  • Ambience offers chic style and privacy
  • 850 Php basic facial
  • Skin therapists take their time and are gentle

Cons

  • Only has one branch
  • Procedures other than the basic facial are notably expensive
  • Minimal pricking may not suit all clients’ preferences

Glow Skin is very inclusive, has a loyal customer base of both men and women based on our last visit.

They have board-certified dermatologists on their staff who come in a few times a week for consultations, and the chic clinic ambience provides maximum comfort and privacy for clients getting their skin treatments done.

Their cheapest facial is the Essential Facial which is priced competitively at about 850 Php. They recommend their Signature Facial, which costs 2,500 Php (as much as premium derma clinics) but goes as low as 1,850 Php per session for a package of 5.

We tried their Signature Facial which consists of an 8-part process of cleansing, moisturizing, and massaging among other steps.

What we noticed about Glow Skin is that their skin therapists really take their time during the facial, limit the pricking, and go about it very gently.

What the Glow Skin Clinic lacks is accessibility. In spite of being a popular derma clinic on social media, they have yet to expand to more branches outside of BGC.

Aside from this, the procedures they offer other than the basic facial are notably expensive. One of their most popular treatments, Lift Off by Sygmalift, is priced at 15,000 Php per session.

We also acknowledge that their treatment style of minimal pricking for facials may not suit all clients’ preferences, as it could be viewed as doing a less thorough cleaning compared to other derma clinics.

  • Over 50 branches all over the PH
  • Professional quality
  • Offers many treatments
  • Best diamond peel
  • Warm and accommodating staff, excellent record-keeping
  • Clean clinic

Cons

  • Lack of privacy in treatment area
  • Therapists manage two clients at a time when their branch is understaffed

Dermstrata has almost 50 branches all over the Philippines, and it’s easy to see why they expanded with the professional quality of their dermatological services.

It offers many treatments from facials, hair growth, cosmetic surgery, spa scrubs, body boosters, and dermatologic procedures. They offer everything from Obagi infusion whitening treatment, stem cell facials to skin biopsy and hair transplants.

Dermstrata is best known for their quality diamond peeling which starts at 1,250 Php.

We found their staff to be very warm and accommodating. Even better, during the facials we felt that they consistently do a very thorough job, and you do see the results after a week or so.

We must mention that their SM North EDSA branch has excellent record-keeping. Someone’s last visit was over 2 years ago, and they still had their name on-file.

In terms of ambience, Dermstrata is no frills compared to the other derma clinics we reviewed, but it’s very clean and suitable for facials among other services.

What Dermstrata could improve in is providing more privacy for their clients, such as shifting the common treatment area to individual spaces for treatments.

We also noticed that on occasions where the branch is understaffed and has too many customers coming in, the therapists tend to manage two clients at a time, working on another client while one client is steaming.

  • Individualizes treatments
  • Free, in-person consultation with skin care specialists

Cons

  • Majority of Metro Manila branches limited to Quezon City
  • Specialized procedures need to be scheduled in advance, subject to availability of equipment and medicine

Montage Skin Science & Aesthetics is an accessible beauty and skincare maintenance service that is steadily expanding nationwide.

Montage now has branches in both Metro Manila and provinces in Luzon, and when we visited their Sgt. Esguerra branch, we found that they offer a wide variety of treatments and procedures at affordable rates.

They offer cosmetic surgical procedures, less invasive aesthetic procedures, and different types of skin treatments from facials to advanced oxygen silk peels. These can range from as low as 500 Php to 5,000 Php, depending on the add-ons you ask for.

The best thing about Montage Skin Science & Aesthetics is that they do their best to individualize their treatments.

When you visit their branches, you can avail of a free, in-person consultation with their skincare specialists to properly discuss the best treatment plan for you. They take the time to explain the risks and expected results for each procedure.

If we were to nitpick, one of the limitations of Montage in terms of accessibility is the fact that the majority of its Metro Manila branches are limited to Quezon City.

Another limitation of theirs is availability of some treatment procedures. Before you come to the clinic, we also recommend that you book an appointment in advance.

Specialized procedures need to be scheduled in advance because they are subject to the availability of equipment and medicine in the branch you’ll be visiting.

Pros

  • Recommended Clear + Brilliant laser treatment to minimize pores
  • Offer budget treatments in spite of the luxurious clinic and tech they use
  • Offer online and face-to-face consultations

Cons

  • 1K consultation fee
  • Pricey products

If you’re looking for a place for pampering, dermatology, and aesthetic services, you’ll hit 3 birds with one stone at Avignon Clinic.

Avignon takes pride in being the first “smart clinic” in the Philippines, with its state-of-the-art equipment and technology which makes it comparable to internationally-acclaimed derma clinics and hubs.

This covers the overall ambience of the clinic, which resembles a hotel, is decked out with mood lights, UV lights, and touch-controlled furniture and equipment.

So far they have only two branches, their flagship clinic in Sgt. Esguerra, Quezon City and their premier clinic along 5th Avenue in BGC.

Their offerings include age defying facelift, rejuvenation lasers, aesthetic injectables, medical facials, chemical peels, acne clearance, hair removal and brightening, hair restoration, laser tattoo removal, dermatology, and a slew of other treatments.

We appreciate that they offer some budget treatments in spite of the luxurious clinic and tech they use. Their Avignon Essential Facial starts at 1,500 Php per session, while their Acne Light Facial with blue LED light goes for 2,500 Php.

Across the board, we found these budget facials to be very effective in cleaning our faces and lightening dark spots on our skin. These procedures were also a testament to the skillfulness and care of Avignon’s treatment specialists.

Their popular offerings are their Clear + Brilliant rejuvenation laser treatment, which is meant to minimize your pores and brighten your skin. The procedure costs 10,000 Php per session.

What we like about Avignon Clinic is that they offer both online and face-to-face consultations. The downside, however, is that it comes at a steep 1,000 Php fee.

We also found that the products they sell at the Avignon clinic from serums to cleansers are on the pricier side. No product sells for less than 2,500 Php, which is the price of a facial at the derm clinic.

  • Offers microneedling, anti-aging, facial contouring, chemical peeling
  • Explains expected downtime
  • Empathetic approach towards clients

Cons

  • Limited branches
  • Clinic can accommodate a small number of people at a time

We found out about Dr. Maris Belizario through word of mouth, and we’ve only heard great things about her clinic and practice. She’s a dermatologist available for online consultations and you can order medication from her online as well.

At BelizarioSkin MD, you can expect modern treatments with state-of-the-art equipment and medicine for procedures like microneedling with radiofrequency. Aside from this, we found their clinic to be well-maintained, and the staff were nice and accommodating.

Glass Skin Facial, a microneedling procedure meant to reduce dull skin, fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars and hyperpigmentation. Aside from facials, BelizarioMD also offers anti-aging treatments, facial contouring, and chemical peeling.

We appreciate that BelizarioSkin also indicates your expected downtime post-procedure, i.e. how many days your skin may experience redness or stinging and when you can expect your skin to look your best.

While not as heavily advertised, treatments at this clinic produce real results for patients dealing with cystic acne and other skin issues.

Dr. Belizario charges a 500 Php fee for dermatologic consultations. What we love about BelizarioSkin MD is that through the consultations, Dr. Belizario displays her expertise and showed she was very empathetic towards her clients and patients.

We walked out of the clinic feeling happier and more confident, while carrying an antibiotics prescription and some recommended changes to our skincare courtine.

BelizarioSkin has two branches, with one in Libis Quezon City and one in SM Marikina. The limitations of this clinic are its limited branches, and that each clinic can only accommodate a small number of people at a time.
