We heard that the facilities are clean and offer a calming atmosphere, which certainly helps alleviate the anxiety that comes with visiting a dentist. Like their clients, we feel at ease with the warm and friendly welcome from their staff. 

As for appointments, it seems that patients don’t have to wait too long, which is great. The attending professionals even take their time to sit down and explain the options for procedures, helping patients make informed decisions. 

However, some have complained that the corresponding fees are not clearly stated before proceeding with the treatment, resulting in unexpected out-of-pocket expenses. 

While they provide a detailed breakdown after the procedure, it would be beneficial if they emphasized the added costs during consultations, not just the base rates. 

Despite this, the majority of their patients have only good things to say about their services, which appears consistent across all their branches based on our survey. 

We also feel that their dentists genuinely care about the dental needs of their clients, which is evident from the moment one steps through their doors and continues even after the procedure.

Elevate Dental (formerly Casipit Dental Group) is a family-owned and operated dental practice that has been serving locals for 12 years. The group is led by Dr. Susan Casipit, a highly-esteemed orthodontist and one of the best in the field.

Her background is nothing short of impressive, starting her practice as early as 1981. She’s also the recipient of multiple certifications all over the world.

Notably, she’s also a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) and the Association of Philippine Orthodontists (APO), among other affiliations. 

The same could be said for the rest of her team, who are all experts in their corresponding fields and continue immersing themselves in training. They cover a wide scope of practice but excel in Orthodontics, Oral surgery, and Cosmetic Dentistry.

On another note, their clinic at BGC features stylish but cozy interiors that aptly depict their brand. We are also blown away by the immaculately clean facilities and top-of-the-line equipment, which elevates the whole experience.

They also have another branch in San Juan City and two more on the way. However, this limits their domain, unless you’re willing to brave the traffic and travel costs.

From what we heard, their rates also come at a premium. A few prospective clients have also reported that they were less than helpful with applying for insurance coverage, which is disappointing.

While their level of skills and facilities are unmatched, we hope to see improvement in terms of customer assistance outside of the dental operatory. That includes front desk assistance and appointment management.

For those in need of complex and specialized treatment with maxillofacial maladies, we advise you to look no further. Clients have more access to their services with ten locations in the NCR and one in Cebu. 

Speaking of, they garnered consistently high ratings across all branches, which speaks volumes about the quality of their services and management. 

However, being a luxury clinic, it comes as no surprise that their services are on the higher end of the spectrum in terms of costs. Given their popularity, it’s important to note that slot availability may be limited, resulting in longer wait times for appointments. 

Nevertheless, many individuals find the investment of both money and time worthwhile, as the clinic guarantees the best treatment available.

Affinity Dental opened its doors in 2008, with its flagship clinic located in Cebu. Since then, it has established a strong presence in Metro Manila with five additional locations.

Their Makati branch comes highly recommended by a loyal clientele due to the exceptional 5-star treatment they provide. During our visit, we were delighted by the cool and calming atmosphere, as well as the warm and friendly staff. 

Not only the dentists themselves, but the front desk, operations, and janitorial staff also received praise for their pleasant demeanor and honest practices, which instills our confidence. 

Through interviews, it was evident that they genuinely prioritize the dental health of their patients, always guiding them through the best course of action. Their personable approach ensures a comfortable experience throughout. 

Their facilities reflect this commitment, with each room equipped with advanced equipment, plush dental chairs, and LCD screens where patients can enjoy movies. We were also impressed by the presence of a dedicated room for treating children. 

While their rates may be relatively higher, we believe they are justified by the value of their services. Customers also have the option to avail themselves of payment plans, including a 0% interest program. 

The name ‘Affinity’ is fitting, given the strong connection and loyalty that patients feel towards them and vice versa. 

Their comprehensive services, a team of professional dentists, and state-of-the-art clinics undoubtedly earn them a well-deserved place on our list.

Within a decade, Urban Smiles Dental Clinic has already established itself as one of the fastest-growing oral health clinics in the region, with 10 branches to date. 

After browsing their gallery, we noticed that their client base ranges from the general consumer to high-profile personalities, including local celebrities. Many of their clients are repeat customers, which says a lot about their reputation. 

Our survey also tells us that their locations in Sta. Cruz and Taft Avenue stand out from the others. 

While they offer a range of services, Urban Smiles sets a high standard in cosmetic dentistry and periodontic treatments. If you’re looking to enhance your smile, they are undoubtedly the experts to consult. 

On the other hand, it’s worth noting that they currently lack a dedicated department for pediatric dentistry and periodontal diseases, which affect the gums. 

Compared to other dental clinics on this list, their services are not as comprehensive as we would prefer.

Urban Smiles does provide promotional offers that help reduce costs. However, we heard feedback that they may not prioritize patients with insurance coverage as much as those paying out of pocket. 

As such, be prepared to wait a while before they can book you in for a session.

Nevertheless, Urban Smiles offers relatively affordable services without compromising quality. Their team of dentists is both professional and highly attentive to their patients’ needs, ensuring that you are in capable hands.
