Best Couriers in the Philippines
We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Top 5 Couriers in the Philippines

How We Picked

Convenience – We selected couriers that make it easy for the customers to deliver a package from point A to point B.
Price – We selected couriers with the most reasonable pricing depending on the weight, size, and speed of delivery.
Fast shipment – We picked the most reliable couriers when it comes to fast shipment, whether it be same-day delivery or the regular shipping period.
Handling of packages – We took into consideration how the couriers handle each package. As such, we only included the ones that have minimal complaints of damage.

Pros

  • Broad selection of vehicles for heavy-duty deliveries
  • 24/7 delivery – even on holidays
  • Excellent chat support
  • Free quote

Cons

  • No live animals allowed for transport
  • Only a few drivers allocated for Visayas and Mindanao

Transportify is a full-service logistics company that allows you to transport goods, cargo, merchandise, and more. They also operate in other countries like Thailand and Indonesia.

You can download their app to your phone or book through their website.

We were glad to know that Transportify allows you to get a quote for free without the need to sign up first. Simply type in the pick-up and drop-off point and they will generate the estimate for you.

Transportify is one of the two couriers on our list that offers different types of vehicles suited for different needs. Ranging from vans, small pickup trucks, long pickup trucks, and multicab – they can deliver any item door-to-door.

Whether you are a businessman wanting to ship products to your customers or if you have any plans on moving out, Transportify can help you out at any time of day. Their drivers are open for booking 24/7 even if it’s a national holiday.

A lot of past service users have noted how excellent their chat support is. They respond immediately to queries and are very friendly. Facebook has rated them as “very responsive” to messages.

Since they offer different types of vehicles depending on the customer’s needs, it ensures them that their packages are handled carefully and appropriately. Within Metro Manila, they can offer same-day deliveries, as well as nationwide deliveries.

We are so glad that the pricing for Transportify is reasonable. For a standard car, they will only charge P250 for the first 3 kilometers and an additional P30 for succeeding kilometers.

One of the downsides that we see is that they do not allow any kinds of live animal deliveries, which is thankfully not a common issue with regular customers.

We hope that Transportify expands their services to other areas in Visayas and Mindanao so that other customers can have access to their service.

2. Xend

Pros

  • Free pickup
  • Shoulders shipping fee for late deliveries
  • Reasonable pricing
  • Does international shipping

Cons

  • Poor customer service
  • Doesn’t offer express delivery

Xend is one of the leading couriers in the market today that partners up with different big brands like Zalora, Toy Kingdom, and National Bookstore to name a few. They have been featured in different magazines like Entrepreneur, Adobo Magazine, and MoneySense.

They have already established their credibility by handling packages with care, which is why they have more than 50,000 partner brands. We were impressed as to how they also empower small businesses since their focus is on e-commerce.

Booking has been made easy with three steps – sign up, pack and schedule. We were able to sign up for an account within just a few minutes. Whether you are shipping out furniture or simply a document, Xend will pick it up with no minimum purchase required.

We think that the shipping rate is pretty reasonable, especially their provincial rate. Other couriers charge above P300 outside Metro Manila. They also offer same-day deliveries that start at P58.

Xend is one of the two couriers on our list that offers international shipping. We were glad to see this option for people who need to send documents or items to their loved ones abroad.

The company has also made a promise to shoulder shipping fees if the packages are delivered late. They offer next-day delivery within Metro Manila and 2-3 days shipping in provinces.

Despite having a chatbot named Lexi, some users have noted that their customer support is not very responsive. Hopefully, Xend will take note of this to improve their relationship with customers.

Many business owners are hoping to have express service for Xend since they currently do not offer same-day delivery. They noted that it would be a big help if they also cover areas outside Metro Manila to have this service.

3. ABest Express

Website: https://www.abestexpress.com/

Main Office: Unit 301, Pacific Center Bldg., #33 San Miguel Ave., Ortigas Center, Pasig City

Contact Information: [email protected]

Business Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Price: Starts at P60-90 in Metro Manila, P90-200 for provinces

Facebook rating4.7/5
Total reviews4.7/5
Score consistency5/5
Convenience4/5
Price4.5/5

Handling of packages4/5

Pros

  • Low rates
  • Free door-to-door pickup
  • Local and international shipping available

Cons

  • Mobile app is not available for iPhone users
  • No same-day delivery

ABest Express was established way back in the 1990s. We were impressed with their proven reputation as they were the chosen partners of both local and multinational banks to deliver confidential documents.

ABest Express offers one of the best deals when it comes to pricing, with fees ranging from P60-90 within Metro Manila and P90-200 for provinces. They also have different rates for international shipping which covers Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and more.

You can either go to the nearest branch to drop off your package (they have over 80 for you to choose from) or you can call to book a pick-up schedule. We find it convenient that they offer this service for free – simply call the branch and they will schedule it for you.

We collected feedback for each branch and the most common compliment is how their customer service is always accommodating and very friendly.

Unfortunately, ABest Express does not offer same-day delivery. We can recommend this to people who do not mind waiting for their packages since it takes 3-5 working days from Manila to Visaya or Mindanao.

We hope that ABest Express can also launch its app for Apple users since it is only available via Google Play. Customers can easily track their parcels through their phones without hassle.

4. Grab Express

Main Office: 12/F Grab Office Wilcon, IT Hub, 2251 Chino Roces Ave, Makati, 2251 Metro Manila

Contact Information: No available email, redirects to Help Center

Business Hours: Open 24 hours

Price: Depends on how far the drop-off point is from the pickup point

Google reviews4.1/5
Total reviews4.1/5
Score consistency5/5
Convenience4.5/5
Price3.5/5
Fast shipment4.5/5
Handling of packages4.5/5

Pros

  • Real-time tracking
  • Fast pick-up
  • Offers package insurance fee

Cons

  • Premium prices
  • Delivery within Metro Manila and Cebu City only

Grab was popularized because they offer private transportation to different countries in Southeast Asia including Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. They now offer food and grocery deliveries, car rentals, and same-day parcel deliveries.

A great feature that we love about the Grab app is the real-time tracking system. Using the map on the app, you can zoom in and see where exactly your rider is going.

They also give you a time estimate on when the driver can drop it off which is very convenient. The recipient can also track the Grab delivery when the sender forwards them the tracking link.

Grab is one of the few companies that offer insurance for lost or damaged items. They cover up to P10,000 which is why it is important to indicate the value of the items being delivered.

Grab handles packages much more carefully compared to other courier services since they only handle one customer at a time. The waiting time is fairly quick as it will be delivered to your recipient within a few minutes or hours (depending on the location).

However, fast deliveries also come with a steep price point. Many users have noted that Grab charges more compared to other delivery apps, which may be a downside if you’re planning on saving up on delivery fees.

We hope that Grab eventually expands to other cities as well, as they are only available in Metro Manila and Cebu at the moment.

5. Lalamove

Main Office: 3F, 114 Herco Center, Benavidez Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City, 1229 Metro Manila

Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 10 PM

Price: Depends on how far the drop-off point is from the pickup point

Google Play reviews4.5/5
Facebook reviews4.2/5
Total reviews4.1/5
Score consistency5/5
Convenience4.5/5
Price4.5/5
Fast shipment4.5/5
Handling of packages4.5/5

Pros

  • Reasonable pricing
  • Good selection of different transportation vehicles
  • Offers e-commerce integration

Cons

  • Limited coverage area
  • Poor customer service

Lalamove is one of the largest delivery services in the market today that caters to several countries all across Asia and Latin America. They are a 24/7 on-demand delivery app that offers the cheapest rates in the country.

Similar to Transportify, Lalamove offers different types of vehicles depending on your needs. They have a vast selection which includes sedans, motorcycles, MPVs, and 6-wheeler trucks.

One of the best features of Lalamove is that they offer the cheapest rates for this type of service. Compared to Grab Express, they are cheaper by almost twice the rate, which is why a lot of users prefer them.

They also have an e-commerce integration partnership with Shopify and WooCommerce. This says a lot about Lalamove’s integrity since many brands trust them to transport their goods to customers.

We can say that Lalamove handles their packages well despite offering multiple bookings. The reviews that we see are very positive and they recommend Lalamove when handling very fragile items.

We recommend Lalamove to people who want to send items that need more care when handling the products but are not too far from the sender.

Unfortunately, Lalamove only covers limited areas – they’re only in Greater Manila, Pampanga, and Cebu at the moment. We hope they expand their services to accommodate potential customers that are outside their coverage area.

Many users are also hoping that they improve their customer service. We hear that troubleshooting generally takes a while, which we hope can be addressed.
