Pros

  • Affordable
  • Has multiple online payment methods
  • Point-to-point route
  • Has a Facebook announcement page

Cons

  • Has a scheduled time to pick up passengers
  • Schedule may change from time to time
  • Only has one pick-up point

If you’re looking for the most affordable airport shuttle service in Manila, we think UBE Express is a suitable option.

We like that it only costs Php 150 up to Php 300 for a one-way ticket to your chosen destinations on their route. They are also point-to-point so the route is direct, which then lessens the travel time.

We also appreciate that they have an updated Facebook page where they post announcements like their schedule that may change from time to time. That said, we highly recommend you to check out their page all the time so you can be updated.

Their booking system is also commendable because it is beginner-friendly and easy to navigate. Added to that, they also accept multiple online payment methods like PayPal and Paymaya so it’s so convenient to get a reservation.

However, we didn’t like that their schedule is limited per route. For instance, they only have five shuttles going to Makati and Robinsons Manila, so it’s a bit inconvenient for us.

Having said that, we think it’s not for everyone who wants flexibility on their schedules because you’ll have to wait for the shuttle to arrive or depart at a certain schedule.

Moreover, we’re disappointed that the shuttle service is not available in different terminals and they only have a pick-up point in NAIA Terminal 3.

Because of this, you’ll have to transfer by yourself if ever you arrive in Terminals 1 or 2, which we think is a bit of a hassle.

2. ShuttleDaddy

Pros

  • Customized pick-up time
  • Offers extra adventure activities like ziplining and canyoneering
  • Available for long-distance trips

Cons

  • Only available in Cebu
  • Registration is needed to book

Transferring from airport in a province can be quite a hassle but if you’re going to Cebu, we think that ShuttleDaddy can help you with your transfers to your accommodation.

To start, we’re impressed that they don’t have restricted routes, hence it’s hassle-free wherever you’re going around the province.

They’re also available for long-distance trips, which is a bonus for us because you don’t have to deal with multiple transfers in the island.

We also like that their drivers are experienced with routes in Cebu so it’s no trouble when you avail their services and you’re not familiar with your accomodation’s location.

They also have customized pick-up time and your assigned driver will meet you on the said time in the airport. They also keep you updated with their whereabouts so it’s easy to reach them.

In their website, aside from booking your aiport transfers, they also offer extra adventure activities like ziplining and canyoneering. So in case you’re not sure yet where to go, or just want to maximize your trip, you can avail those bundles that they have.

However, as we like their services, we hope that they expand their reach in other airports. Since they’re only available in Cebu, we think that their scope is limiting.

Moreover, we noticed that their booking system is not beginner-friendly as it requires multiple steps to be able to book and you also need to register to the website first.

3. Viator

Pros

  • Wide range of pick-up points
  • Can go to far-flung areas

Cons

  • Payment is in dollars
  • Website is only a listing site

If you’re planning to go to multiple cities and want to avail airport shuttle services, then we highly recommend Viator.

Though they’re a listing site, we’re happy that they have services in different international airports in the country. Aside from that, they also have a lot of choices when it comes to cost, allowing you to avail more affordable options.

It’s also a bonus that their booking procedure is easy and there’s a lot of options in case your dates aren’t available.

What’s also impressive is that most of their airport transport services can reach far-flung areas, especially provinces that require you to transfer multiple times.

Additionally, we appreciate that some listings offer a ‘reserve now, pay later’ option. In case you’re not 100% sure yet, they also have 24-hour free cancellation so it’s a good deal for those who still have tentative plans.

However, we think that their requirement for payment is inflexible because they only accept payment in dollars. Hence, you’ll be charged differently based on the exchange rate of dollars to peso.

Because of this, we recommend that you check the rates from time to time so you can get the best deals and not pay extra charges.

4. Avis

Pros

  • Personalized route
  • Offers a lot of discounts and promotions
  • Reasonable price quotation
  • Has an app

Cons

  • 10-hour limit
  • Pick-up is only available in five cities

Based on our assessment, Avis is one of the best airport shuttle services if you want a personalized route.

We like that they have a personal driver that can take you to multiple locations that you prefer as long as it fits their 10-hour limit. Aside from the chauffered trip, they also offer self-driven cars if you have a personal driver with you.

Furthermore, if you avail their services, you also get to choose what kind of vehicle you like. This option makes it easy for those traveling in groups.

On their Facebook page, they also post discounts and promotions that you can apply if you avail their services. That said, we think they have one of the greatest deals when it comes to personalized airport shuttle services.

Upon checking their rates, we also can’t help but be amazed by their reasonable rates. They have a minimum rate of Php 1,500 but usually, they also offer promotions for as low as Php 999.

Despite that however, we think that they are quite limiting in terms of time and pick-up points. For airport pick-ups, they only cater to five cities which makes them a bit restricting.

Anyhow, we still like Avis because their app is easy to use and it’s also practical to use whenever you’re traveling.

Pros

  • Has latest car models
  • Has 24/7 customer support
  • Clean and detailed car units

Cons

  • Reservations are only available through email, text, and call
  • Has limited information in their website

Based on our experience, Voyg Transport Services, Inc. is one of the airport shuttle services that offer the best customer service.

We value that they provide round-the-clock client service, which is crucial, particularly in emergency situations or if your travel is at night.

In terms of vehicles, they’re also one of our favorites because they have the latest models of cars available. In fact, the oldest car that they have is only four years old!

Further, we also that they’re great because they have clean and detailed car units. Hence, we think it’s for those who prioritize security and cleanliness when traveling among others.

However, we believe they’re the most outdated when it comes to booking system among the airport shuttle services on this list. This is because they don’t have an app or booking site that automatically processes your reservation.

If you want to book a trip, you’ll manually do it by calling, texting, or emailing them. As a result, we think it’s not fit for those who don’t have time to schedule or follow-up their booking manually.

Moreover, we also observed that their information on the website is limited, so if you have additional queries for a rush booking, they may not be a viable option.

All in all though, we still appreciate Voyg Transport Services, Inc. because their services are top-notch.
