Sandisk also offers a wide range of storage choices from 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, to 128GB, 256GB, 512 GB, and 1TB.

One of their best models is the Ultra SDDD3 which is also called an OTG or on-the-go flash drive. Buying a Sandisk OTG would be perfect if you’re hoping to do quick transfers from your phone to your PC or laptop and vice versa.

It has a micro-USB connector and a USB 3.0 connector, making it compatible with other OTG devices like Android phones and tablets.

One thing we love about the Sandisk USB brand is its excellent performance in terms of speed.

The downside to the Sandisk brand is that some models have their flash drive’s write speed slowing down after a while, especially when transferring big files.

Transcend USB flash drives are manufactured in both Taiwan and China, and their company specializes in all kinds of memory products.

Transcend offers both USB 2.0 and USB 3.1 Gen 1 connection interfaces, and the latter packs a lot of power in a small storage device.

Its standard line is the Transcend Jetflash. Its build is primarily of plastic, but they use either caps or sliders to protect the actual flash drive.

They make use of nice, eye-catching pastel colors that make you feel like your USB is especially yours.

The Transcend JetFlash models are available in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB capacity.

Based on our speed review, the Transcend USBs generally showed good performance. 

In terms of compatibility, its system requirements are Windows 7 or later, MacOS 9.0 or later, and Linux Kernel 2.4.2 or later.

One of the flaws of the Transcend brand is its sustained write speed, which is not the most consistent. It may slow down as well if the files you’re transferring are large.

Another hiccup with the Transcend build is its indicator light. The models that feature indicator lights don’t always blink when in use, thus not all models have a functional indicator light on the flash drive as advertised.

Hewlett-Packard (HP) is one of, if not the biggest brand for computer technology and print production. We know all about their line of laptops, printers, and all-in-one or multifunction office equipment.

In spite of the prestige of the HP brand, you’ll find that its 32GB USB flash drives can come at an economical price of less than 150 Php!

HP offers models with USB 2.0 to USB 3.2. Comparing these 2.0 and 3.2 models matter because of the quickness of file transfers.

Our criticism for the HPb brand is in terms of overall performance, its USB’s writing speeds could be a lot better. When put side by side with the other USB brands in our review, the HP flash drive’s speed pales in comparison.

It’s also only compatible with Windows and MacOS, so if you’re a programmer on Linux, you won’t be able to use this HP flash drive.

Design specifics aside, the Toshiba brand carries the best-performing USB 2.0 flash drive that we know of. It can perform high-speed data transmission for USB 2.0 ports on any PC or laptop.

The Toshiba USBs come in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB capacity. They also have USB 3.0 and OTG drives in its arsenal.

Toshiba USBs have a hot plug and unplug feature, which means it can be immediately detected by the computer for ease of file transfer.

It’s also compatible with various operating systems, so whether you’re a Windows or MacOS user, you’ll be covered by Toshiba.

Based on our experience, Toshiba USBs have generally slow writing speeds. They also have limited storage capacity options compared to other brands, like the lack of a 1TB USB.
