Pros

  • Powerful 60,000 mAh capacity
  • Has 10 layers of smart protection
  • Has two-way quick charging feature

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Heavy to carry around

If you’re looking to Romoss for a portable powerbank that can get you through a camping trip or an hours-long brownout, feast your eyes on the Romoss Pea60.

It’s the ultimate portable charging dock as you can charge up to four devices at once.

You can even order a silicone case with a handle to carry it around with.

This powerbank is literally a powerhouse, packing a 60,000 mAh capacity lithium polymer battery. You can use it to charge not only smartphones but other devices like an iPad, Nintendo Switch, even a laptop!

You wouldn’t have to worry about your gadgets being compromised because the Romoss Pea60 comes with 10 layers of surge protection, which prevents overcharging, overheating, short circuits, and other potential concerns.

The Pea60 has 3 different input types: Lightning for Apple products, Micro-USB, and USB-C. This device also supports fast charging technology which works great on iPhones, and a two-way quick charging feature.

Based on our experience, it’ll take roughly 14-15 hours to fully recharge the Pea60 from total dead battery, which isn’t so bad considering how much power it can pack. You won’t need to charge it often.

The drawbacks for this Romoss model are that it’s remarkably heavy, weighing over a kilogram, and that it’s heavy on the pocket too.

Pros

  • 30,000 mAh capacity is great for heavy users
  • Has 10-layer smart protection
  • Has Fit-charge technology
  • Has a bi-directional USB-C port

Cons

  • Bulky in terms of design
  • Still heavy to carry around

If what you need is a more compact, powerful powerbank for everything from travel to emergencies, the Romoss Sense 8 Plus will prove to be a very good choice.

In terms of build, the Sense 8 Plus’s cover is made of sandblasted material. It comes in matte white with grey details.

It’s long and thick like a block, and weighs about 670 grams.

It has an impressive 30,000 mAh capacity which is flexed on the cover of the power bank. This capacity is good for heavy users, so if you’re shooting a film on your smartphone or taking lots of videos for a concert, this is ideal.

The Sense 8 Plus has two USB-A output ports, and a bi-directional USB-C port (a bi-directional port means it can be both for input and output.)

Aside from this, it has two input ports, Lightning for Apple products and micro-USB.

What we love about this model is that the unit has Fit Charge technology, which allows the powerbank to choose the right voltage to avoid overcharging its attached devices.

It also has 10-layer smart protection design that prevents the powerbank and devices attached to it from overcharging, overheating, and other power surges.

What we don’t like about the Sense 8 Plus is that it’s still definitely on the bulkier side in terms of design. It takes up space and wouldn’t fit comfortably in a regular pocket.

Aside from this, it’s lighter than the PEA60 but significantly heavier than the other powerbanks in our review and of its range.

Pros

  • Sleek, classic design
  • Has LED notification panel
  • Has bi-directional Type-C port
  • Has Fit-charge technology

Cons

  • No quick charging features
  • Still too heavy to be a compact powerbank

If you’re looking for a very clean, classic-looking and reliable powerbank, we recommend the Romoss Sense 6 Plus.

The Sense 6 Plus comes in a Romoss signature sleek, white design with grey accents on either side. It has a power button with a blue indicator light, and 2 output charging ports.

This model has 3 different input ports from Micro-USB, Type-C, and Lightning. Its USB Type-C port is bi-directional, which means you can use it to charge both your phone and the Sense 6 Plus powerbank as well.

It has a 20,000 mAh capacity, which is enough to charge a typical smartphone up to 4-5 charges. The Sense 6 Plus also has Fit Charge technology, so overcharging your phone will be the least of your worries.

This particular variant of the Sense 6 Plus that we reviewed has an LED notification panel in front. We love how convenient this design feature is so that at a glance, you’re aware of the powerbank’s battery level when you use it.

Where the Sense 6 Plus falls short is its lack of quick charging features, as well as its weight that’s close to half a kilo. It’s handy but you’ll have to charge it fully for over 12 hours, and it’s not the easiest powerbank to carry around.

Pros

  • Light enough to carry in pocket
  • Has LED display to show battery percentage
  • Has Fit Charge technology
  • Has a multiple safety system

Cons

  • iPhones charge slower than Android
  • Doesn’t come with charging cable

Unlike most of the powerbanks we reviewed, this model is light enough to fit comfortably in your bag or big jeans pocket. It has 20,000 mAh capacity which is more than enough for road trips or a weekend getaway with your barkada

Romoss intended to pack enough power in a smaller powerbank model. Ares 20 is designed to be easy to carry in your hand, and even has a scratch resistant body.

When you get it brand new, we learned you have to drain the powerbank first from its factory battery percentage and then charge it 100% to make full use of its features, including the LED screen.

Its very handy LED display shows how much battery the unit still has to charge your devices.

The Ares 20 also has the standard Romoss Fit Charge technology which works over 3 different input types: Lightning for Apple products, Micro-USB, and USB-C. On this model, you can charge up to two devices at a time.

The Ares 20 has a multiple safety system built into the unit, which protects it from overheating.

What we didn’t like about the Ares 20 is that its charging speed for iPhones was slower compared to Samsung or Android phones. Aside from this, the Ares 20 didn’t come with a charging cable upon purchase.

Pros

  • Lightweight
  • Thinner and smaller than a regular cellphone
  • Comes at a good price point
  • Has a small, digital LED display
  • Fast charging

Cons

  • Only has 10,000 mAh capacity
  • Only has Type-C and Micro-USB input

Rolling out the lightest powerbank in our review, the Romoss Slim 10 is the ideal powerbank for daily use.

True to its name, the Slim 10 is thinner and smaller than every powerbank we’ve reviewed, and even slimmer than a regular cellphone!

The Romoss Slim 10 only weighs 194 grams, and it’s sleek enough to fit comfortably in your pocket. We even found that you can slip it in there along with your phone while charging.

We love how it’s lightweight enough to fit in a tote bag or tiny clutch for going on a night out, so you’ll never have to face the crisis of your phone dying when you’re out late.

The Romoss Slim 10 has 2 inputs and 2 outputs, and it comes with a micro-USB cable. 10,000 mAH capacity would be enough to get your phone to 2-3 full charges, which is not bad at all.

Like the other Romoss powerbanks, its battery is made of lithium ion polymer.

It also has fast charging capabilities, which is extremely handy for a small, portable device. Despite its size, the Slim 10 also offers safety features including a built-in chip for over voltage protection.

The downsides to the Slim 10 are that it only has Micro USB and Type-C input, and that as a drawback to its lightweight, the 10,000 mAh capacity may not be enough for heavy users.
