Since Globe offers a Globe At Home App, you can easily monitor your Internet usage. You can also subscribe to different Internet promos with the app and pay for them online.

For us, the freebie that comes with this is already worth it because 50 GB costs Php 2,499 in their regular GoSurf promos. You can share that 50 GB for up to 6 devices so it’s a good buy for families. 

In terms of design, it has a simple boxy body that is compatible with external antennas. For instances that you can’t get a good signal in your area, you can attach antennas for improved connection. 

We also like that it is lightweight so it’s perfect for frequent travelers. However, you may need to purchase a USB cable compatible with this router as its power cable can’t be connected to power banks.

Another concern that we encountered with this prepaid WiFi is that it can heat up when used for hours. Because of this, we recommend that you turn it off if not used to avoid overheating.

We also like that the modem has 4 LAN ports so you can connect multiple computers, servers, consoles, and other devices at once. This is ideal for those who have multiple devices that can’t be connected to wireless Internet.

However, we’re disappointed that the modem doesn’t come with external antennas. Without it, you may need to purchase additional antennas so you can get stronger signal. 

Also, we didn’t like that it doesn’t come with a USB power cable. Hence, you will need to buy one if you will bring this with you outside. 

Above all else, we think that SMART Prepaid Home Wifi LTE (Greenpacket-D2) is a good upgrade for those stuck with modems that can only connect a few devices.

If you have a limited budget, the SMART Prepaid Home Wifi LTE (Boosteven-R51) is a good option. 

For only Php 495, you can already connect to the Internet that reaches up to 100 mb/s. For those who need backup WiFi, we highly recommend this because it is a cheaper alternative than other prepaid WiFi in the market.

Because of its price, we think that it’s fit for those who are relying on prepaid data and don’t want to drain the batteries of their devices.

It is also a good choice for renters who don’t want to invest in high-end modems.

With its design, we admire that despite being boxy, it is lightweight and thin. So, we think that it’s best for those who travel a lot.

If you need LAN ports, however, you may find using this challenging because it only has one. Because of this, we don’t recommend this for people who have multiple devices that connect only to LAN.

Additionally, we didn’t like that it can only connect up to 5 devices. Thus, subscribing to unlimited data may not be worth it unless it’s for personal use.
