We like that this tablet is only Php 6,899 but already has a 1920 x 1200 display resolution and 64 GB worth of storage with 4 GB RAM. This is comparable with more expensive tablets already, which is impressive.

The best feature for us is the dual SIM card and 4G network support. For people looking for a cheap alternative to phones and laptops, we think that this one is a suitable choice.

This is also ideal for students because it can process different educational applications at the same time. Based on our assessment, its RAM can efficiently process Zoom, Google Classroom, and more.

Additionally, it has a sufficient storage capacity of 64 GB which can already store a lot of files.

However, this tablet falls behind in terms of operating system. It comes with the outdated Android 10, which was released in 2019. 

Upon trying its camera, we also noticed that it is low quality, especially in low light. Since it only has 5.0 MP (rear) and 2.0MP (front) cameras, you may need to situate it in well-lit areas so you can have a good video or image.

If you’re looking for a tablet good for watching movies or videos, we think that Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is for you.

Among the tablets on this list, it has the biggest screen size of 10.5” with a 1920 x 1200 resolution. Because of this, we think that it’s the best streaming device among the tablets on this list.

Aside from the display, we also appreciate the tablet’s 7040 mAh battery capacity. Upon trying, the video playback lasts up to 12 hours without other applications running.

Also, this particular tablet we’re reviewing is only WiFi-enabled, meaning that you cannot use a SIM card with this. This isn’t the tablet for people looking to get all their communication needs met by one device.

That said, you can always get the LTE-enabled version for a higher price if you want a tablet with a SIM card.

Additionally, this is not a fast-charging tablet and it only has a 15 W charger. Thus, we recommend this for those who already have a smartphone or laptop that they can use throughout the day.

If you want a fast-charging tablet that can substitute for a phone, then Realme Pad Mini is a good choice.

To begin with, it has an 18W fast charger that can charge its 6400 mAh battery in just about 3 hours. It even has a reverse charge, so in case of emergencies, you can also charge other gadgets with it given that it uses a Type-C port.

With its size of 8.7”, we think that it’s fit for on-the-go individuals because it is compact. 

Despite this, we’re surprised that its SIM caddy can also fit a micro-SD card. With this, you can expand its limited 32 GB storage capacity to up to 1 TB.

Additionally, it is a good substitute for a phone because it can accommodate 2 nano SIM cards.

In terms of camera, it is also adequate since it has an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. Thus, we believe that it’s also good for video calls and video meetings.

That said, we recommend this for those who are usually on-the-go. Its size also allows you to bring it anywhere and have your meeting wherever you are.

However, if you want a large display, you may not like this because it only has an 8.4” display screen. 

Overall, we believe that the Realme Pad Mini is a wise investment for anyone looking for a portable tablet.

If you want a tablet for your kid, then Huawei MatePad T 10s is a suitable option.

It has scratch-resistant display glass that covers the whole front, which melds seamlessly with the metal frame. Because of this, we think parents can consider this an option for their kids.

It even has a Kids Corner so your kids can play and learn. With this tablet, you can also manage how you want your kids to access it, thanks to its content management, app management, and time management features.

We also admire that it has a light matte texture and ergonomic fit at the back. Hence, fingerprints are not immediately noticeable.

Similar to the Samsung Galaxy A8, the resolution of this tablet is 1920 x 1200 pixels, which is great for streaming. It also has a dual SIM card slot, which gives it an edge over the Samsung Galaxy A8.

We also like the IPS display because it produces crisp images as well. Comparing it to those with LED screens, it has a better display regardless of your viewing angle.

However, a major problem for Huawei products like this one is that it doesn’t come with Google mobile services. That said, you can still access different applications with this because Huawei has its own App Gallery.

Another problem that we encountered with this one is its limited battery capacity. At 5100 mAh, it can only last hours when used continuously.

Overall though, we still think that the Huawei MatePad T 10s is a good choice for those who want a durable tablet with a pretty solid viewing experience.

If you want a tablet with a bright display, then we recommend Lenovo Tab M10 2nd Gen.

It has a screen that can reach up to 400 nits, which is higher compared to other tablets on this list. Though it isn’t too bright on sunny days, it can still be used outside and in shades.

Therefore, we recommend this for those beach trips and outdoor activities. It also has a widescreen resolution of 1280 x 800, which is already the standard in HDTVs, so you can be assured of a good viewing experience.

Aside from the display, you can also insert a SIM card into this tablet, making it suitable as an all-in-one device.

It also has good 8 MP (rear) and 5 MP (front) cameras. The output is quite good, which will satisfy those who find the need to take those occasional selfies and virtual group shots.

However, a concern with this is that its battery capacity is only 5000 mAh – the smallest capacity among other tablets on this list. Added to this, the charging time is quite long with a duration of about 4.5 hours.

All in all, though, with its features, we think that it’s still a good investment.
