They use an herbal compress made out of dried yellow ginger, kaffir lime leaves, turmeric and lemongrass which have anti-inflammatory properties to soothe muscle soreness and ease respiratory congestion. 

We found that it also serves as an aromatherapy massage in itself because of how fragrant the compress is!

Through the years, Spiral SpaThey expanded because they believe in combining services for personal care, beauty and wellness, which makes them a go-to for their loyal customers.

You can reserve a massage by making a call or text before 12:30 AM. Once your booking is confirmed, you can expect the massage therapist to arrive within 30 minutes if you’re in the Timog Avenue or Quezon Avenue area.

What we don’t like about this massage service is that they have limited reach, catering mostly to customers from Quezon City and in the areas close to it. You’ll have to wait about an hour or more if your location is outside this general vicinity.

It also takes longer for a massage therapist to come to you the farther away you live, and you might be encouraged to extend your desired treatment to make it worth their while.

They have amazing service, with everything smooth from booking an appointment to the actual massage!

We found the receptionist to be very warm and efficient in scheduling our treatment, unlike other home service spas that are impersonal and never get back to you in time. 

They responded quickly after making an inquiry, and before we knew it the Apple Tree’s therapists were already on their way to us!

Their massage therapists are driven in an airconditioned company car, so you don’t have to worry about your masseuses getting stressed out from commuting around the metro or bringing in any elements from the road into your home.

The therapists themselves present themselves as very clean and neat, and we enjoyed the treatment with how professional they were. Even if you book a massage late at night, their therapists are trained not to get sleepy and work their best.

Thus, every massage they give is of quality. Apple Tree Home Service Spa offers Swedish massages, shiatsu, foot reflex, Thai, hilot, slimming, Ventosa, hot stone, and combo. 

They  also extended their services to nail care, so you also avail of a regular or gel manicure and pedicure when you’re done with your massage.

They also have body scrub treatments that’ll make every inch of you feel relaxed and indulged. We highly recommend their milk and honey body scrub packaged with a 1 hour Swedish massage.

The downside of Apple Tree is that it only caters to parts of Quezon City, as well as its branch in Angeles, Pampanga. Aside from this, owing to the spa’s popularity, slots fill up quickly. We recommend booking in advance if you intend to get a massage soon.

One not-so-hidden gem in the area that also offers a terrific home massage service is Blue Tranquility Spa.

They accept bookings from 9:30 AM to 11 PM daily, and provide their customers with quality massages at a competitive rate.

Blue Tranquility offers Swedish massage, shiatsu massage, combination, Thai, and traditional hilot. They also have hot stone massage and Ventosa cupping and massage.

For athletes, you can also go for a sports massage. These aim to combat fatigue and reduce muscle strain, thus you can expect that the standard pressure here is medium to hard.

What we love about Blue Tranquility is that they’re accommodating towards last-minute appointments, and that their masseuses are consistently fair with the time. If you book a massage for 1.5 hours, you can expect the masseuse to start and finish on time.

If there are select areas you want to have worked, they offer foot reflex at 400 pesos an hour, and scalp massage at 200 pesos for 30 minutes.

This particular home spa also provides manicure, pedicure, and footspa treatment.

They also have kiddie massage and kiddie mani-pedi services if you want your kids to enjoy the spa day at home with you.

What’s not-so-great about Blue Tranquility is that once you’re a regular, you can detect the disparity between the fairly new and veteran massage therapists they have. As part of the domino effect here, their best therapists are usually overbooked or reserved.

We appreciate how many wellness activities MassageMNL has catering to mothers, from prenatal, postnatal, and lactation massages to baby massages and kiddie massages too.

One of the best things about MassageMNL is that, in terms of reach, it covers a wide range of areas north, south, and east of Metro Manila.

The criticism we have for MassageMNL is its booking system and part of its service.

They have separate numbers to contact depending on which area you’re from, but there have been instances where after taking inquiries, they inform the customer too late that they’re fully booked or that they’re booking didn’t go through.

Aside from this, their service can be rather inflexible. If you request a certain massage and ask them midway to adjust their pressure or style, the therapist may recommend a different type of massage that charges a different fee.

Their all-around service is very enticing as you won’t have to run separate errands, set multiple appointments, or go all the way to the mall to get everything done.

Our WellNest PH experience was relaxing and professionally done. Their standard massages all start at the same 500 Php per hour rate, and we highly recommend their deep tissue massage. 

What’s very popular among their customers is their eyelash extension service. After a massage, you can get your lashes glammed up (either way, you’re advised not to take a shower after those treatments!)

Wellnest PH has a wide range of service areas, covering most major cities of Metro Manila, and some cities east and south.

The downside to Wellnest PH is that their massages are priced a little more expensive than the other spa services we reviewed, and that their communication with customers can be improved.

We like their extensive range of services from different massages, body scrubs and various therapies.

What we also like is how affordable their basics services are. Their basic services start at P350 per hour but the total cost depends on the distance from the nearest massage therapist.

We think the massage itself is worthy of praise. Their staff is very accommodating and skilled at what they do.

They also make sure to get there on time. If they don’t come within 60 minutes, their services are free!

Overall, it’s a pleasant experience with them. We highly recommend!
